The mission of the Wrestling Life  Hall of Fame is to recognise the legends and overlooked heroes whose passion and perseverance built the foundation of modern wrestling. Our goal is to honour the talented performers whose dedication, passion and impact paved the way for modern wrestling’s success, both inside the ropes and beyond.

The Wrestling Life Hall of Fame shines a spotlight on remarkable individuals, revisits career-defining moments and provides a platform to celebrate the lasting contributions of those who have made wrestling truly unforgettable.

WRESTLING LIFE HALL OF FAME OF INDUCTEES

DAVEY BOY SMITH'S influence on the professional wrestling industry cannot be overstated. A whole generation of UK wrestling fans can trace their roots back to the moment the whole country came together to cheer The British Bulldog on to Intercontinental Title victory at Wembley Stadium.

The total package, The British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith was a superstar both inside and outside the squared circle. A powerhouse with incredible speed and ring presence, Davey Boy's connection with fans globally was undeniable, especially across Europe.

Davey Boy Smith passed away in 2002 at the young age of 39, but his incredible legacy now lives on in his two children, Harry and Georgia.

A TRUE INNOVATOR and incredible showman, Marc Mero's in-ring skillset was ahead of its time. His work in World Championship Wrestling and the World Wrestling Federation helped to set the trend for faster-paced wrestling storytelling.

Marc Mero's life story after professional wrestling has been nothing short of incredible. His desire to help positively transform the lives of young people globally though his work with Champion of Choices is so inspiring and has made such a difference in the world.

Whether performing as the charismatic Johnny B. Badd, a babyface Wildman or a Marvelous heel, Marc Mero always gave one hundred per cent to everything he did inside that squared circle. Since leaving wrestling behind, that same energy has carried over into his purposeful life as a motivational speaker.

THE RESILIENCE, tenacity and respect shown by Candice Michelle towards the wrestling industry quickly transformed the former Diva's Search contestant into one of WWE's most popular stars. With an undeniable connection to the fans, Candice always brought real passion and energy to the squared circle.

Now working with purpose and passionate about helping others as an emotional alignment specialist, champ coach and motivational speaker, the former WWE Women's and 24/7 Champion left behind an enduring legacy in the wrestling business.

A 'champ' both inside and outside the ring, Candice Michelle's powerful, confident run as a WWE diva helped pave the way for the industry's women's revolution.

35 YEAR VETERAN REFEREE Mike Chioda played a crucial role as the third man in the ring for countless iconic matches in wrestling's storied history, contributing to the in-ring storytelling of many of the industry's greatest rivalries.

Enforcing the rules in many WrestleMania main events and working inside the squared circle with countless WWE Hall of Fame stars, Mike Chioda is now passionate about helping to train the next generation of wrestling referees.

​

The considerable energy, passion and realism that Mike Chioda brought to the business throughout his career added an extra dimension to the exciting in-ring product. As the longest tenured referee in WWE history, Mike's name is indelibly etched in the history books.

THE DYNAMITE KID's explosive, innovative and high-flying style changed the face of the pro wrestling business.

 

Ahead of his time, Tom Billington's stylistic influence can be seen widely across the modern product.

 

Pure dynamite inside the ropes, Billington wowed wrestling fans globally. Both as a singles competitor and as one half of The British Bulldogs, The Dynamite Kid left it all in the ring, always competing with great ferocity and intensity. 

One-time Stampede North American Champion and WWE Tag Team Champion Tom Billington passed away in 2018 on his 60th birthday, but the professional wrestling legacy of The Dynamite Kid lives on to this day.

MARCUS BAGWELL

One of professional wrestling's most electrifying and unique personalities, sports entertainer Marcus 'Buff' Bagwell lit up arenas with unmatched charisma, confidence and raw athletic talent. 'I'm Buff and I'm The Stuff' wasn't just a catchphrase. It was a fact.

A five-time WCW tag team champion, Bagwell was a walking highlight reel. Whether flying off the ropes in high-octane tag team matches or strutting down the ramp as a proud member of the New World Order, Buff owned every second he was on screen.

Bagwell's story isn't just about fame and fortune: it's about heart and grit. After wrestling, he faced down personal battles with the same intensity he brought to the ring, stepping into a new fight. Today, he's become a symbol of resilience, owning his past, lifting others up and proving that real strength comes from within.
